yes, you are right. she’s amelia earheart, first ever woman to fly across blah blah blah. point being, amy adams really portrays characters very well! think enchanted. what a doll!

this, is a still taken from night at the museum 2. the 1st installment was awesome and hilarious, but this 2nd one, is just like an extension of the 1st one. most interesting part of the movie was probably the appearance of more historical figures. i cant say much for the story, but…that’s cos i fell asleep for the bottom part of it.

and that’s when you know, im totally immersed in this role you call motherhood.

happy mother’s day

time certainly passes in a blur. i’ve been a mom for close to 5months! and boy, it is a really exhausting experience. but amidst the fatigue and skeleton eyes, there is a kind of intangible joy and fun that motherhood brings. you find yourself becoming a less selfish person who only cares about fulfilling your own needs like for my case, i find myself buying things for scarlett most of the time and not for myself. clothes, educational toys, clothes, educational toys, you get the drift.

somehow, the need to pamper yourself just diminishes over time. i find myself going sans makeup and not really bothering to match my wardrobe as meticulously as i would have done before. now perhaps that’s one reason why most women turn into frumpier versions of themselves after having children, and hmmmm, perhaps i should pay more attention to that. not good turning into a hag.

but point being, you just find yourself more concerned about this little person than your-very-vain-self. i think, motherhood does make one a better person indeed. great moms grow great kids. i hope i can live up to that.
