PS: I Luv You

ps i love you.

this has got to be the best love story and movie ever. even better than titanic. i never cried so many times during a show. if u r a romantic, u must watch it. if u r a “practical”, u must also watch it. too touching, too surreal, and i love it. does not hurt that gerard butler is too hot as well. there are just too many parts of the movie that relates, too much.

but, one thing is untrue about the show. not all women don’t know what they want. some do. maybe it’s just hard to put it in words, that’sall.

a beautiful production.

the most breathtaking hotel architecture, ever.

Atkin’s Architecture Group recently won the first prize award for an international design competition with this stunning entry. Set in a spectacular water filled quarry in Songjiang, China, the 400 bed resort hotel is uniquely constructed within the natural elements of the quarry. Underwater public areas and guest rooms add to the uniqueness, but the resort also boasts cafes, restaurants and sporting facilities.

The lowest level runs with the aquatic theme by housing a luxurious swimming pool and an extreme sports center for activities such as rock climbing and bungee jumping which will be cantilevered over the quarry and accessed by special lifts from the water. With a stunning visual presentation as shown here, it’s no wonder this project took home the first prize. This is a fine example of an ultra modern facility co-existing amongst its natural environment.

and here is the wow factor:

this beats the finland igloos hands down. and i mean HANDS DOWN. oh my god! it’s like finding paradise underground! it’s near shanghai, completing in may 09 and im so going so going !!!!!!

oh my god. Finland, here i come.

When you tire of the endless sandy beaches and azure waters of warm climes, but you are not quite ready for space travel, head to Lapland for a dramatic, mystical getaway. The snow igloos that pop up each winter to complement the 20 spectacular glass igloos and 31 luxury log cabins at Kakslauttanen resort in Saariselkä, Finland, are definitely cool in all meanings of the word.

You can lie in your bed under the glass ceiling of your glass igloo, cozily covered by thick down duvets, and watch the snow fall gently in the light-blue air of the endless night. It is surreal and magical. You actually do forget that it is cold and, in fact, you are not cold. The duvets and clothing provided ensure that you are really feeling cozy.

There is also a snow chapel, the world’s largest snow restaurant for 150 people, a Finnish traditional smoke sauna, an eight-meter-tall glass tepee (designed to resemble the typical Lapp tepee called kota) for cocktail parties under the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights, revontulet in Finnish), and a honeymoon suite or two. You guessed, it, this place is hugely popular for fairytale winter weddings.

one key

i say, wouldnt this be cool to have all your keys grouped into one “key”?

KeyPort – an all in one key fob… just get specialized blanks cut to match your car, house, boat, locker, etc keys and the slot right in.

darn smart invention.

amex, oh you are so desirable

There are gimmicks and there are – American Express Gold Card gimmicks… sleek, sexy, and i’m sure intentionally flashy. Introducing the Butterfly. The card literally folds in half to fit in this keychain case. Its actually pretty enough to grab with merely your keys and cellphone. You can take it out fully to pay, only half way to swipe, or (according to the demo) just hand them the case (but i forsee many a confused waiter).

But, the question lies not in whether it’s really that cool or not, but when will you get to own it.

swiping into thin air,
