it’s the holiday season and best friend came down from indo for a visit. played the part of the tour guide and we went around shopping and experiencing the sg nightlife. all in all, it was good fun. pictures!

this was at clarke quay’s central, where we happened to bump into the christmas ice skating extravaganza event held there. the guy as santa seriously looked like george bush. no kid.

and next was clarke quay, at mos.

this was random shopping at raffles city area

at vivocity, the xmas deco at the rooftop was fantastic!

and finally, had a christmas steamboat dinner at shirley’s place, with qiyun. goofin around as usual.

now…new year plans?

regret,

i think, is one of the saddest things in life that one can ever experience. everyone has his/her regrets in life. regrets for the things that you have done that you shouldn’t have, the decisions you made that probably could be better, the things that you wished you never said, the…..it’s endless.

perhaps you have shouted at your mom in a heated argument, and now thinking back, you wished you never said those hurtful things that you did. but then, try as you might, the damage is already done, the hurt already inflicted and there’s nothing you can do. or maybe, you thought about the things you have said to your friend that weren’t exactly nice, and you wished you could take them back, but hell no, your words had already done the damage.

regrets can also be things that you have Never said, or never done, and that if you have said or done them, it would have made a difference. perhaps it’s the simple “i love you” that you could have told your loved one, but somehow something in your mind keeps telling you that you don’t really need to say it out loud because they probably know that you love them, or you haven’t plucked up the courage to do so. or perhaps, you regretted that you did not tell someone how you really felt about something, which might have made a difference.

so you see, there’re just so many possible permutations of your life that could happen if you have done different things at the same times. but sadly, it is not meant to be. you only have one chance for every circumstance, one try for every action, one reaction for every situation. once done, it’s done. but as long as the person is still within reach, it is never too late to keep trying, to keep the relationship going strong, be it family, lovers, friendship, colleagues…

Cuz regret at it’s ultimatum, is when the person no longer exists in your life.

joker.

i’ve always liked the joker in the batman series. never liked the penguin, the riddler, mr freeze, poison ivy (ok, she’s kinda hot), etc. in a perverse way, the joker is a macabre but cool villian. and the latest joker by heath ledger in “The Dark Knight” which sadly only opens on 18 Jul ‘08, even sadder it’s for US, is really cool.

see what i mean? damn. but they could prolly do abit more stuff
with those hands though [they look too normal].

on a really unlucky note, i got my wallet stolen. stolen as in STOLEN.
how dumb can i get! and when your wallet gets stolen, the last thing
you really wanna hear is ”why are u so careless?” yeah, like i Want to
be. pfft. i hope the thief’s fingers catch leprosy mysteriously and rot
away.

received a mail from this online accessory blog that they are selling limited heart shaped sunglasses! i know this is crazy, but ive always wanted to a pair. i mean, it’s fun, isnt it? plus adorable too.
